The honest version: Heartbeat is a very small team, and there are no open roles right now. We are in beta, building in the open, and spending money on servers instead of job ads.
What working here will look like
Heartbeat is built by game developers for game developers. The core is open source, the accuracy claims ship with public tests, and the marketing is not allowed to say anything the pipeline cannot prove. If that sounds like your kind of engineering culture, we want to hear from you before we ever post a role.
Roles we expect to open as the beta grows
- Founding engineer, backend (C#, ingest and metrics at scale)
- SDK engineer (Unity, Unreal, Godot clients)
- Developer relations, someone who actually ships games
None of these are open yet. Listing them is a roadmap, not a job post.
